Using insight to support improvement and change

12 months into the joint venture at VMO2, the team wanted an external, objective review of their corporate channels, and wanted to understand how they could make best use of their channels, in the right way and cost-effectively.

  • We conducted four ‘deep dive’ conversations with members of the team to understand more about current challenges and successes in relation to their use of Workplace, their intranet, social channels and around cost effectiveness

  • In addition, the views of 15 leaders from across the organisation were gathered through Teams interviews

  • 9 online focus groups were conducting giving colleagues from a wide range of role and locations to give their views

  • An online survey gave all colleagues the opportunity to input

  • A detailed report was provided, giving the team insight into: SLT priorities and the needs of colleagues.  Four priority areas of focus were identified to support the development of effective and efficient channel strategy

“Working with HarknessKennett really helped us to understand the colleague experience of our portfolio of channels at VMO2.  They became an extension of our team, keeping us informed every step of the way..”
