Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) have traditionally been the focus for Sustainability or Corporate Responsibility – looking at the impact on the environment and wider society. But ESG is important to your people too. Not only does it enable them to see how their organisation aligns with their own values, but the ‘Social’ part has specific implications for the way that organisations focus on employee wellbeing. From the IC pro’s perspective, ‘Social’ is the wrap around which brings culture, purpose and employee experience into prominence for senior leadership teams.
This event will provide IC practitioners with an overview of what they need to know about the ‘Social’ part of ESG, how to emotionally engage leaders and employees in it, and how to inform it through employee voice. You will hear from Suzanne Clarkson, Associate at HarknessKennett, who specialises in employee wellbeing, ESG and facilitating joined-up thinking to help internal communicators get the CEO and the board aligned, and Nikki Griffiths, Group Communications and ESG Director at Hyve Group plc who will share a practical case study of how they approach ESG.
This is an informal session with lots of opportunity to ask questions, network and enjoy some breakfast.
