John Lewis & Partners is the department store division of The John Lewis Partnership, which is the UK’s largest employee-owned business (owned in Trust by 81,000 Partners). It runs 51 stores across the UK, as well as its successful online business.

With disruption in the competitive retail landscape putting the business under pressure, it was in the process of adopting an ambitious new strategy, supported by a comprehensive brand refresh.
